The Community Resource
Inventory
The
Coordinating Council of Broward (CCB) annually collects data for the
Community Resource Inventory (CRI). This
effort uses a survey to gather information from the funders and providers
of health, education and human services in Broward County on the types of
services available and the corresponding funding flows during each funding
cycle. Starting with the
survey for 2006-07, the CRI has been implemented on the Broward
Information Network (www.browardinfo.net/cri/),
and the survey can be completed online. 211
First Call For Help manages the annual update process, and uses the
database to update the information and referral database it uses to
provide 2-1-1 services (www.211-broward.org)
to Broward County residents.
Copies of prior years of the CRI database (in Microsoft Access) are available for each year beginning with 2001-02 (see the links below). For the years from 1998-99 to 2002-03, The CCB used the CRI database to produce a series of standardized reports, which also are posted below. Starting in 2003-04, improvements to the user interface on the database made it possible for users to generate the standardized reports themselves. In addition, the results of the Community Resource Inventory, including the complete database and a simplified mapping application, were made available on CD-ROM in 1999-00, 2000-01 and 2001-02.
