The State Road 7/U.S. 441 Collaborative developed a Strategic Master Plan
for the entire 25.6 mile corridor and has been divided into nine planning
segments. The Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) and the South Florida Regional Planning Council partnered to provide services to communities along the SR7 corridor in Broward County. TCRPC was brought in to help citizens' plan and articulate their visions for their community. Communities along the corridor are working together to promote increased economic development, aesthetics, and public safety along this aging commercial roadway. Citizens, property and business owners, and local government representatives articulated their vision for their communities, and they now are working together to promote economic development, aesthetics, and public safety.
